Which Carbon Fork?

Hey Guys,

Which carbon fork, Niner or White Bros for TD type long hauling? .... NOT Colorado Trail type single track.

I've read a tonne, I know all the spec differences, weights, prices, etc.....
Aesthetics aside, just asking about the performance of either fork for the intended use. Pure function.
TDR's answers welcome.

I think you'll get more difference from tire selection than either of those two forks.  Check out the Wiskey fork too. I'm hearing some nice things about it.

Just from what others have said the White Bros is the fork of choice for TD racers.

Not that I was doing TD but I chose the White fork and found it to be very high quality.

Thanks AZTtripper...Any idea as to why they chose the White Bros? Have you tried any other carbon forks for comparison? I've only ever ridden steel forks for the above mentioned purposes so I don't really have a carbon fork frame of reference.

There are a couple threads over on that other forum that I've read and most would argue in favour of the Niner over the WB. Most were talking singletrack applications though.

I chose WB because I could get a good price thru BTI.

I have heard that TD riders choose them for the front to rear flex, this is supposedly better then a shock for wash board roads.

That's all I know.
