I bought a Nemo Rhythm 25 Long bag off REI during clearance + discount, but it isn't big enough even if I sleep face up. One arm out and I might fit fine.

https://www.rei.com/product/882687/nemo-rhythm-25-sleeping-bag-long-2014-closeout

Last night I tried it while in a cool (59 degrees) bedroom and while warm I couldn't sleep, maybe 3 hours total. I will try flipping it tonight as the tuck in piece would be now on the bottom.

Also note, I planned on using it while traveling with MTB, to sleep in my CRX with a sleeping platform.....

If I decide I cannot "fit" in it I'd list it for sale here minus the shipping costs.

OK, tried it upside down, using the tuckable flap as a pillow/base, the "hood" to shield light, but it is still not big enough.

Sell on here or REI return?

Could you just open it and use it as a pseudo-quilt?

So what do you mean you don't fit? is it not wide enough? or not long enough? It doesn't have a zip through foot, but it does zip all the way down to the feet right? It's a little hard to explain online but if you unzip it all the way it should fan out and then you can use it like a blanket. I'm a stomach sleeper and Mummy bags don't work for me unless I unzip them and use them like a quilt, and tuck the sides under me. The only time I zip myself into one is when it's close to the temp limit of the bag.

66" shoulder girth is not enough. It unzips down to about 15" from the end of the bag, length is plenty.

I'm 5'10" but got the long bag as it had more shoulder room.

I'm looking at this....76" girth, made to use with a pad, I have a 30" wide Klymit inflatable

Zips down both sides so you can flip the top layer back, almost quilt like.

So I don't think that one will work with your 30'' pad because it's designed to be used with a 25'' pad (though you could just put the pad under it instead of slipping it in the sleeve)

I like the siren better http://www.nemoequipment.com/product/?p=Siren  Also have a look at the pictures of the siren and imagine using your sleeping bag the way it is used. That's how I use mummy bags 98% of the time.

Sorry, I meant to link to the "Luxury" one which accepts 30" wide pads.

Headed to REI tomorrow to return the one I have and look at others.

The bigger Luxury bag arrived yesterday from Sierra Trading Post, will be PERFECT for car and tent camping with above pad. I could get by with the smaller bag and thinner foam pad in the above car or lighter weight while on the bike.
