I use the Mountainsmith "Day" with "Strapettes" ....It's a HUGE fanny pack with optional shoulder strap system.....Relatively cheap....Love it

Just got my new wing nut pack - was delivered April 4th so that wasn't to bad - was ordered on April 17th.

I've had great experiences with the Wingnut packs. They are light, well-made, and sit well on the hips.

i just picked up a camelbak octane lr , same idea as the wingnuts in that the bladder is horizontal across the low back. it's a bit light on storage space , but i prefer to carry most stuff on the bike.
