I currently run a 27.5+ wheel set on a pivot les fat.  For next year, I'm going to attempt the divide.  I'm trying to figure out if it would be worth building a 29+ set.  I am running a rockshox bluto front fork already.  I need to get a dynamo hub, so I either need to build a new set, or get my current front wheel rebuilt.

Generally speaking you'd be better off with 29 x 2.2 or so. Most efficient overall for covering miles and miles of miles and miles.

If you are running a suspension fork there is no need for that much tire or traction.  Washboards are the most of your problems.
