My friend and I just had a great ride on the Co. Trail from Denver to Lake City where we ran out of time.  We are planning on going back next year and starting in Denver again.  The riding was brilliant until Highway 50 to Highway114 and that was no good.  It is all trashed by moto's.  If you are not concerned about riding the exact Co. Trail is there a better route between those two roads?

I don't think there is another way.  I think the only alternative is to drop off the ridge and ride roads.
