It has always been for tracking multiple sports. Go to the "portfolio" page and you'll see Air Races, Canoe races and several years of Baja

Oldest rider = 70. Think he said his name was Lee, from White Horse, Yukon. 6/10 ride a Surly on the Baja DIvide. 7/10 ride on 29+ 3.0 tires. My 29 x 2.6 seem to be the thinnest out there. 8/10 have a Brooks saddle. I don?t know why. 1/10 have drop bars. I did not like them, until I rode a few hundred miles north and into the wind on Mex 1. In the old days I would never see another rider on the back roads. But would see groups riding down Mex 1 every day or two. This year I saw 1 rider with panniers on Mex 1 and 10 or more riding the gravel roads.

Baja Divide cerado para covid 19, not. The migration guy noticed that I had cleaned nearly all the dust off my bike, and just waved me through. Worst day of the year to ride a bike is race day. Nov 17 - 22 http://score-international.com/raceinfo/baja-1000-2/social distancing? the right way

https://vivabaja.com/explore/baja-photos-map/Interactive photo map of Baja Baja season starts the first day of November Ensenada at the Baja 1,000 every November. They also have a grand carnival party in Ensenada. The Baja 1,000 is the season finale of off road racing. At just 38 km off route, why not take a look. Ensenada is a good place to learn a little history. Back on the divide, listening to coyotes sing their song.

One of the best Baja videos I've seen. Stayed awake late to watch it. https://youtu.be/KTASiq3ys4o

Whale tales. Guerrero Negro is a good place to go whale watching. Bahia De Los Angles. Whales like to have a good look around. Only Gray whales stick their heads up to have a look around. Ever touched an 80 foot whale? Are there more Osprey than people in Baja California Sur? 36516
