ok this idea has been brewing in my head for a bit...

CT to Durango-Moab hut route to KT

Been working on how to go north maybe into WY and then a bit of the great divide route then over to winter park over rollins pass back into Denver....

If I'm living in Colorado next summer hope to get it scouted out

I would be interested in something big (month long or more) after 2010. For 2010 I am planning on my second attempt at the CTR.

Sedona to the AZT, then to Moab (on the trans Utah?) then on to Durango. Then? Not a good way to loop back but it would be cool to connect several major destinations in one trip.

There's a big chunk missing between the end of the AZT and Moab...and that would be Trans Utah!

Sounds like a good 6 weeks if not more, that's some mega bikepacking.

And it seems that there would only be a tiny sliver of opportunity to do it in order to have snow free trails and not get cooked in the desert, unless you started in northern NM tho.....  icon_scratch
