Hi Squirrel I rode the Bradshaw trail about 2 years ago, from Blythe to the Salton Sea. In this direction its generally downhill. This took me two long days of riding with a bit of night riding each day. The upper part of the trail is solid dirt as you approach the Salton Sea there are some sandy areas. A 27.5 plus size bike would be a good choice for this ride. i was able to stash some water at the Wiley Wells, Bradshaw trail junction, 2 gallons was left here. This ride was done in late February and it was in the low 80s. i needed all the water i had and was given about a quart from some 4 wheelers, later another group offered me some appetizers and a beer. There no available water along this route. The Bradshaw trail gets ridden a bit by bikepackers. In researching my ride, i found a rider on this site that did it in a long day. I've also done a bit of riding in Joshua tree if you need more info contact me. Mtntraveler
