Hey guys,
I want to share with you a little web application I've created - a map of the Great Divide showing where the (SPOT-equipped) riders are. Not only that, but it can also show an elevation profile and statistics of the terrain individuals recently covered. I think it'll be fun (as an armchair superfan this year) to follow along and read about others' adventures. The map is at
http://eatsleepridegreatdivide.com.
If you're riding the Divide (as a slow tour or race) and carrying a SPOT, head on over to the site and add your ride info. Right now there's no one to show, but come Friday some TD racers who are signed up will appear - the more, the merrier.
The app can also be used to generate profiles and statistics for any section of the route, such as this:
Can anyone identify this terrain feature?
Again, the current rider map and elevation profiler is at
