Coconino Loop - gas station in Parks closed

I just got back from riding some of the Coconino Loop. Apparently the little Texaco gas station/store in Parks (east of Williams where the route crosses I-40) burned down last month. They're rebuilding, but in the mean time, all you can get there is beverages during their currently limited hours. But if you turn left/west onto Old Route 66/Brannigan Park Rd instead of right/east, there's a small store with a cafe just a third of a mile down the road. They are open until 7 most days of the week, and they have tasty sandwiches. So for anyone planning to enjoy the warm days of August along the Mogollon Rim, keep that in mind.
