While enjoying my ride along the Blackhawk Pass section of the Colorado Trail a week or so ago into Durango, off in the distance over my right shoulder is this huge massive rock peak that is very different than anything else out there. Anyone care to elaborate on what mountain top or peak it is?

You can see it below on the top right of the picture.

The odd rock spire is indeed Lizard Head, 13,113' tall.  The massif off to the west of it is Mount Wilson and El Diente... as many times as I've seen the range I still think it's a strangely beautiful sight, good for double takes even now.
