Hi, I am leaving out in mid May to attempt the great divide, starting somewhere in New Mexico. As of now, I'm riding solo, but I'd love to meet up with others that are leaving out about the same time. Are there any resources other than various forums to help meet up with other? If you're interested in joining, let me know!

Going "backwards" is fun.  If you haven't seen my side, my SO and I rode it backwards and have a journal, pics, etc:

You might try adventure cycling's forums to try to find others to ride with.  It may be hard to find anyone going backwards, though.  Happy planning!

I did land on your journal before! I also posted on adventure cyclist, so hopefully I'll get some replies. Maybe I'll meet others on the road. Not too worried about it until I get into bear country.

Going backwards is going to be a challenge reading the maps. I think I may need to get a GPS for this one..
