I still cant believe you two are over halfway there!!
Amazing. I dont think many out there understand how hard it is to actually ride the CDT outside of the CT corridor. Its so hikeabike its not even funny.

Molino is mostly rideable uphill! But I'd much rather do Fish than Oracle.... that's for sure.
Fish would be a notable inclusion on CDTbike... character building. Not that there aren't many, many, many sections on the trail that are character building.
Found a real gem of a descent down from Bridger Peak (north of Battle Pass), and a pleasant diversion around the construction south of Rawlins.
Basin is next up. CDT route is different and more direct, more primitive, than the divide. Looking forward to it and crossing fingers for favorable or light winds.
Cooking up a completely different route around Yellowstone. Wyoming Range national recreation trail is supposed to be very remote, very primitive, non-existent at times. Perfect for CDTbike!
Current thinking is to head due west from Pinedale, ride the northern 40 miles of the WRNRT, take singletrack in Snow King resort into Jackson (bike shop on route!) then over Teton Pass. Some singletrack there, hit Victor (another shop) then more trail in the Big Hole mtns. Across Idaho farmlands to reconnect with CDT fresh out of Yellowstone.
Yellowstone offers nothing to a cyclist, and the divide route through the Tetons and Yellowstone isn't that great. So I think we're going to go for this Jackson route. Though I hear there is one small section of CDT by Union Pass that is open and good.

Yeah! Done. Amazing trip and amazing way to travel and see the country. There is definitely something to traveling slowly and lingering.
Lower bound for racing may be closer to 40 days. Montana is hard.
Really hope others will follow, and soon. Lots of info and GPX to come.
