Hi All,

Been a while since I've been on the site. Guess I lost my way.  Anyone have any recommendations for 1-3 day bike packing routes in the lower mainland with MTB accessible camp sites? I've got a trip planned for the Sunshine Coast next month but would some routes that I can ride from YVR?

Also, does anyone have an overland route from either Deep Cove or Bunzten Lake that can take me up to to top of Indian Arm? I want to explore the logging roads up to Squamish but don't want to drop a small fortune getting a boat tide.

Thanks

best to take the West Coast Express to Mission and start there
or put your bike on the front of a bus and head as far east as you can
you need to get east of Mission or Chilliwack, north of Squamish, or elsewhere in BC before you can start
you can't hike or ride into the back country from the North Shore because of protected watersheds/drinking water sources

or urban bike trails/routes from the airport to get you out of town

You could try circling Cloudburst Mountain, that one was a lot of fun. Take a shuttle to Squamish and ride up. It would be a couple nights.

Or riding to Abbotsford and then to Cultus lake and Chilliwack lake.

Or as from Hope take the kettle Valley rail trail up to Brookmere and then Princeton.
