So I am planning on finishing (long overdue) the CT next week, starting at Marshall Pass on Monday.
Pretty wet right now, and supposed to be through early next week. Any thoughts/intel on conditions in the San Juan or Cochetopa Hills? Snow flying up there? I see some snow on the higher peaks above 12,000 here in Park county - but just a dusting that I assume will melt off.
Thanks

Snow mesa/Spring Creek Pass were dry last week. There is rain forecast for the next 7 days up there with Monday/Monday night looking the worst. No snow on the La Garitas yet. I am planning a loop starting Monday up Miners Creek to Snow Mesa then over to Pole Creek down to the Rio Grande Res. Hopefully back to work at 4UR Ranch on Wed. evening. Enjoy your ride!

I rode that stretch the last week of August this year. We had some snow on segment 23 but it didn't stick much below 13,000'. Enjoy! The San Juans are the best part!
