Hi!

Short time lurker, first time poster.

We are a Norwegian couple heading to Denver this summer to do a couple of weeks of bikepacking in Colorado and Utah. We were planning on just riding a section of the TAT (off-road version, https://ridewithgps.com/routes/9275460), but would really like to explore a more northern route from Denver to Telluride, through Leadville/Twin Lakes-area. We are looking for as much gravel as possible, and prefer paved roads rather than trails/single track when gravel is not an option.

We would much appreciate any tips, suggestions, links or tracks.

If people are interested, we will make sure to keep you posted on any route suggestions we come up with.

Thanks!

If you?re still researching?

I?d be looking at the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. It may not hit your destination list exactly, but there?s no singletrack on it and it?s very scenic through CO. Check out Adventure Cycling?s site. The documentation and paper maps are excellent.

You might research on this site.   They would route on the same type of roads at the TAT.
