GDMBR Condition check - Port of Rooseville to Seely Lake

I know the Tour Divide is still going on, but I'm figuring that a good portion of the riders are trying to get caught up on sleep and not following the forums in here (at least for a bit)

I'm headed out to ride this section of the route with a couple of friends in the next two weeks. I'm wondering if there are any sections of the route that are suffering from significant amounts of issues from landslides or storm damage (down trees, etc). Just trying to get an idea of whether we should scale back some of our planned distances for each day. Any other general trail condition reports would be great to have too.

i have not been to red meadow pass lately but i live in the area and doubt that its not all cleaned up by now, at least as far as bikes go. that route gets a lot of usage

Driving out from IA starting this Thursday evening. Will start either Saturday or Sunday morning at Port of Rooseville. One of the guy's that suggested going grew up there. He's got plenty of ideas for us

Thanks for the recommendation, I would not have known about that. Maybe that is the place that Caleb Stolte sidetracked to on his TDR attempt.

I did high school in C.F.. Are you from around there 3pin?

I live outside of whitefish , my driveway is on the GDR. Can't say i'm from here as I've  only  been here 9 years but it suits me awfully well. Not sure about Caleb, I'll ask some time. They watch our dog. You know you live in a cool place when you call your dog sitters and ask if they can take your dog while you go bike packing and the answer is yes but they might not be there because they plan on bike packing at the same time.
