NEW YORK ROUTES?

Hello Everyone! So glad to have found this site! I am a newbie when it comes to this. Have been reading everyone's information for days and so grateful to have found you all! Anyway, Im planning for a 3-4 day trip in the spring. Does anyone know any good bike routes near the New York area? Also, any bikes you'd recommend for 400 or less? Im just a college student and money doesnt come by easy these days. Thank you all!!!

Following up in this older thread, curious if either of the posters (or anyone else) has any route info. My family OS looking at vacationing in NY next summer, and I figure it would be fun doing a couple nights in the woods.

Cool.  Thanks for those links.  I get a bit lazy when viewing the forum on my phone, honestly.  I will check them out; taking a quick look over them, I vaguely remember reading a few of them before and being interested.
