Does anyone have some recent info on the San Diego Sea to Sea trail.  The web site is a bit dated.http://www.seatoseatrail.org/  I have ridden the first 20 to 30 miles and  got to a point where the trail was no longer.  Wondering if work arounds trail are in place.  Thanks for the info.  Jacques

Hi Jacques

I just came across this webpage myself and was about to post the same question. I haven't done any of it. But would be interested in exploring all of it. THe website says there's only 20% left to go.

Curious if anybody has any new information since Jacques original post a couple years ago.

Jacques, you interested in maybe tackling it sometime soon?

I checked their website, and was sad to see the last update I could find on the site was their newsletter from November 2005.  Nevertheless, I live in San Diego, and I'm very interested in checking out this trail, probably after I get a GPS.  I'll be asking about this trail at REI when I get there later this week, too, so if I learn anything, I'll be sure to pass it along.

About 4 to 5 years ago, I rode aproxmitely 40 miles of the route from the coast to around the HWY 67.  The site map and directions help but the area has changed alot.  I live in Southern Orange county but am always game to fully check out this route.

Alas, having spoken with two of the sales floor employees (one in the GPS section, one in bikes), nobody seems to even be aware of the existence of this trail.

I wonder what kind of shape it's in today?

I know this thread is a little old. I have been wanting to ride this trail for sometime now, I too cannot find any updated information. I have ridden the trail from Torrey pines to the 67 freeway. What I plan on doing is driving the route from the 67 freeway east. I know there are 4x4 trails that connect up all the way to Anza. Not sure when I will do this but anyone is welcome to join me if they want

Check the Stagecoach 400 for a better route...I have tried to ride the route with little success.
