I'm sure many of you are familiar with this short film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IL42jDFml4c

I am interested in getting into bikepacking and living in SE Idaho this seems like the perfect way to get into it. I know the area pretty well between Victor and Ashton. I was looking for some info on where they camped in the film? If anyone knows that would be great!

Thanks in advance,
Hopeful future bikepacker
-Andy

Also any advice for a noob would be great!

I am not sure where they camped in the video but my wife and I did a 3 night 4 day trip from Victor to West Yellowstone and back.
Day 1: Victor to Warm Springs Campground via rail trail/backroads
Day 2: Warm Springs to West Yellowstone over Fish Creek Rd to Chick Creek then twotrack over CD.
Day 3: West back to Warm Springs via Rail Trail
Day 4 Retraced our route back to Victor.

I think it was 240 miles with lots of climbing on day 2

Best of luck

Hey thanks for the reply. Will have to look into that more. Might be high miles for me as a new rider. Could maybe find a spot between warm springs and west an make it a 4 day.
