2013: Fishing and Bikepacking Scandinavia anyone?

Greetings from Switzerland!

I have 2 hobbies - biking and fishing, and am thinking to combine both. I would absolutely love to bike from a fishing spot to another. Fish for a couple of hours and camp (or stay over at a B&B). Bike and explore.

After checking out some videos and reading articles about fishing for nice sea trout and salmons in the Scandinavian countries, I am very interested to try to do fishbikepacking in 2013 in one of these beautiful locations.

1. Anyone done it before?
2. Anyone have any tips?
3. Anyone want to join?

To set the correct expectations, I have never done it before. I am fumbling as I go around planning for this.

I wish I could join you on a trip like that! I'm also a flyfishing/biking guy and have done both together many times. Not much advice, I just pack my regular bikepacking gear and as far as flyfishing goes I bring a 6 weight 4 piece packing rod, reel with floating line and fly box that's about it. Next year I'm adding a pack raft when I go out that should bring it to an other level!
