Looking for some company exploring the ANF. Would like to start @ the beginning of route 666 and then take some side roads. According to my gazetteer there a tons of jeep trails just waiting to be ridden. I'll be on my Farley. Probably be an overnight trip. I'm located in Pittsburgh and have room for another bike on my rack. Looking to go @ the end of June or early July.

Hey there. I know this is a post from last summer, but if you are still around I'm definitely planning some trips up to ANF this spring and summer. I'm located in Pittsburgh as well and I grew up pretty close to ANF. Not that I have any understanding of how to navigate it by bike. But getting lost and figuring it out is the point, right?

Re-opening an old thread I know... I am interested in doing some ANF riding/exploring. I was up a few months ago and did some riding, not very familiar with the area though. If you are going to be riding up there this summer I'd be interested in joining you. I live north of Butler, 80 minutes from Marienville. Thanks!

I relocated to Ontario. There are a ton of trails to explore up here. Not super technical or sexy but fun. Cheers.

I have friends in PA & am planning on driving south to the blue ridge sometime as soon as school lets out, likely late june...I'm new to bikepacking & I wouldn't want to botch your gig, but if it stars aligned & I could hop on the train then that would be total radness! should I feel encouraged to stay informed? thanks.
