Vancouver to Calgary July 6th

Hi, I'll be doing a trip from Victoria, BC to Calgary mid-July 2014. This will be my longest trip yet. My longest trip was around 250kms. Has anyone done this trip before? Any advice? If anyone would like to tag along with me that would be great
