Manitowoc WI through UP to Ludington, MI starting October 1

Late notice, but I only discovered this forum. I got a solo tour planned cruising and camping around the upper half of lake Michigan in less than a couple of weeks. Sorry for short notice but only just discovered this forum. I will loosely follow this route: https://goo.gl/maps/z1obJoZRHSQ2 but I definitely want to hit Picture Rock

Setting off from Manitowoc on Oct 1. When I get to Ludington, I'll take the ferry back to Manitowoc.

That looks like an interesting route, hopefully you will have good fall colors. 

If you want to  modify the end of your route to add some single track, take MI 115 to Messick and pickup the Trans Michigan route posted by forum member Jim L.
