Anyone want to ride around Pagosa Springs, show me around a bit? I'll be there Aug 18-24, I'm open to ride suggestions from anyone. One ride I know I'm doing is the Alpine Loop, from Ouray on Tuesday the 21st, glad to share that fun with anyone. No backpacking really, just looking for a few single long days.
Cheers!

For anyone keeping score at home, I'd have to call the Alpine Loop route one of those things I'm glad to have checked off the list. It is one of the hardest days I've ever spent on a bike. If you want fun, look elsewhere, or do it on a moto. Great scenery throughout, but half the route is a gruelfest. The funniest thing out there is to see all the little Mule 4WD golf carts, driven by beer bellied 60 year old men, carrying foo-foo dogs in their laps.

Did you take any pictures? Would love to see them. The Colorado Mtns can test your faith.
