Hey everyone my name is Noam and I'm 24 yo/m , traveling this September from Israel to co to bikepack the ct.
I would really glad to find out any partner for this journey.
Didn't experienced yet bikepacking but I hiked a lot and I'm trail rider for almost 5 years.

Hi Noam, I'm just back from bikepacking the CT - enjoy. Definitely pack good rain gear! If you have any other question, feel free to ask me.

Hi there, its good to hear that hope you had good times.
I wanted to ask if it better to start from Darungo in september, and if you have any good hostel to recommend about before startin heading north.
Thanks again.

To my understanding, you will have regular thunderstorms due to monsoon season in September. They might be a bit worse on the Durango end. On the other hand, doing the Denver->Durango direction is way better in terms of "flow" -- You've got more time to adjust to the altitude, it is easier on the Denver end, and the more exposed and more gratifying segments are on the Durango half. So I would probably still start in Denver.
Furthermore, there is no hostel in Durango anymore, and Motels start at 75$ (for a really icky one). We did start late in Denver (~10pm), and just biked about one mile until we found the first rest area where we camped out. In Durango there is a camping place close to the trailhead.

Usually, monsoons are over by Sept. in CO - it's more of a late July/August thing. You can get a wild variety of weather still, but it won't necessarily fit the, "a thunderstorm every afternoon" model.
