Hey guys,
I'm planning on heading to South Africa in November to visit friends and then am starting a bikepacking trip in the first week of December from around Pilgrim's Rest to Cape Town. Currently planning on a solo trip but would love a riding partner for this epic. It will basically follow the Spine of the Dragon Route as seen on Detour Trail South Africa website and as documented by the wonderful folks at Pedalling Nowhere. I will be doing the whole route minus the Northern most province due to weather/ time/ and resource availability concerns.
I am able to provide more information to anyone interested. This trail has only been biked a handful of times before, this could be a great opportunity to see it before it gets commercialized by guided tours.
