GDMBR conditions

Does anyone know if GDMBR from Banff is ridable now or is it still too much snow/water?

There is some controversy among the hard core, but I would say unless you are a penguin there is too much snow and water.  The route is closed 12 km out of Banff to replace a washed out bridge.  You can ford the Spray river in the midst of the spring run off if you want.  There is still snow on Elk Pass and other passes on points south in Canada and Montana.
