Experienced on- and off-pavement bike tourer planning to start at Mexico border around June 17, 2020. Plan to finish around the Tetons (second half will be following summer). Planning ~50mi/day, one rest day per week.

I'm male, 39, married, from Colorado. Looking for companion(s) for all or part. Wife will be driving out with the little one to do a few shared camps (with cold beer!) in northern New Mexico and/or mid-Colorado.

Hi,
I am interested in possibly riding a portion of the Great Divide Trail with you this summer.  I have already completed Banff to Salida.......so would be interested in Antelope Wells to Salida.  Are you planning to use the maps from adventure cycling and the guidebook to pace yourself?  Or do you plan to definitely ride 50 miles/day?  I am 55 years old, married, and mom to a grown son.  There is another person from Colorado who may be interested in joining.  Have you found others to ride with yet?

Hi Sarah,
Sorry I haven't updated this post; since placing it I have been tempted away to try out the newer Wild West Route this summer, and I have also found a riding companion.  I hope you enjoy the remainder of the Great Divide!

Hi, I'm planning to ride from Colorado north to Canada, starting in mid-July. Has anyone found a good source of updated information about which towns/parks/public lands along the way are closed and which are welcoming cyclists?  The best I've found so far is the facebook group linked below, which indicates that people have been embarking on the trip lately, but no details.

Thanks!
