Do you have any specific dates or a direction for your trip, yet? I have a buddy getting married in Crested Butte July 22nd. Figured I'd just ride there and I might be interested in tagging along if things mesh.

Hi Steve,
I would like to go the beginning of July but am worried about snow pack in the higher elevations. When will you be out there?

Hi Steve,
Just booked my flight. I will be arriving in Denver July 4. Plan to spend a day getting stuff together and maybe ride out by the 6th. Would love to ride with you if you can swing it. Still seems super daunting but I'm starting to get stuff together and excited.

Hey for anyone else reading this thread, I'm looking to start on July 16th or July 17th from Denver. Also open to other routes, especially in the PNW, but I only have two weeks off from work (15th-30th of july).

Rengland, could you describe your expectations in a partner as far as mileage, fitness, and budget (cooking in camp vs. eating out/convenience stores, etc.)? That timing might work for me and I'm thinking strongly about it.

Hi,
I am coming from PA so not sure how I'm going to do with the altitude. I'm bringing stuff to camp but will definitely have to drop into towns to re supply, shower, eat and maybe stay the night. I'm a strong mountain biker,;however, i just don't know what to expect. It seems like there are large sections of hike a bike.
What are your thoughts?
Renee
