Hi, I'm planning to ride the Baja Divide starting in San Diego around January 5 - 15. I'm flexible on start date but will be hard for me to leave any earlier than the 5th. Looking for folks to ride with, especially for the first 4-5 days. Up for riding with someone throughout if the fit is good. I've also posted to the Baja Divide fb forum but so far not seeing anyone looking at a similar start date.
I've done a number of shorter bikepacking trips in Arizona, Utah, Texas, New Mexico and California and also recently did a 3 week segment of the Trans Ecuador Mountain Bike Route (dirt road version)/Tres Volcanes mix.

I am also planning but got exams till the mid of Jan. So I will be going after 20th Jan.

I have some time this winter to ride. I've been wanting to do the Baja route since it's inception. Is the goal to pedal all the way South, and back up to SD?
