Dalles Mountain 60

I'm heading down from Seattle to ride The Dalles Mountain 60 the second weekend of March. Heard there is a sub-group that does a S24O but can't find info. Anyone know the details about the alternate route, or where to find other riders who are planning to camp out? I heard it was a route down the Klickitat.

I'd recommend a slightly larger tires than for the DM60 -42c+ would be good. There are some chunky bits.

Apparently the top entrance to Maryhill Loops road is quite emphatically closed, so this is probably a better, more fun option than the tradional DM60.

No idea about specific "event" information  -just routing.

That looks like a great ride, if I do the DM60 I'm sure I'll come back for the Klickitat/Swale route. Looks like it is not bad at all in terms of climbing. Mostly trends down, actually.

One place info could pop up is on the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) mailing list. Someone will probably post about it a week or so prior.  Or, you can post there to see if anyone wants to join you on your S24O.  Posting is a little awkward and it works better if you subscribe to the mailing list before you post.  Good luck!
