Thinking about getting out to buffalo creek area or waterton canyon in a couple of weeks. Also open to other options, like riding from town to a destination. Snow storms or significant rain will likely cancel plans, as trails are barely dry as of today.

Looking for moving time of less than 10 hours per day, and probably less than 100 miles total distance covered. Tent, stove and camp chair coming along.

If anyone's interested, let me know.

Hey Gabe,

I was also hoping to do a quick trip in April, weather/trail permitting I'd be in. Buffalo Creek/Waterton works for me so long as it's dry thumbsup  Though just to put it out there, I was kicking around the idea of heading out to Fruita to do an out and back on the Kokopelli....

Longer range forecast doesn't look good for next weekend. Don't want to make the drive to Fruita unless I've got a couple more days.  Looking at the possibility of a ride west of Boulder, too. Will post an update after this first storm moves through Monday night.
