Hey Dave,
You had a tough call to make with this years conditions. I probably could have finished within my given time peramiters without the blowdown along the route. Upside to it was I got to see plenty of the elusive white columbine whilst diverting off trail.
Eszter was a complete animal negotiating the pick up sticks. Best quote of the trip from her as we're wending our way through, "This is........................AWSOME!" It was too funny.

I think it would take an 8-man chainsaw crew at least 2 years to clear out all that deadfall.  It was...impressive.  I don't think I've ever seen that many downed trees in my life.

Going and doing an ITT with Brad Mattingly starting on the 10th.  We plan to do the extra riding out to the point.  Should be a great time.
