10-4 Joe.

I'm actually also pleased with the rain, trails were dry and dusty for the most part until recently.  However ...yes, I don't remember these monsoons being so dramatic and early. I do of course hope it slows down in 8 days Smiley funny you mention that, Itoday I was stuck in a horrible storm, I thought to myself...WHat Would Jefe Do. Lol

I remember several years ago that they came during the GDR.

Wow! Chris! Good to see you on here!  How's the family?

I just got off the trail. We were mostly lucky with the rain. I bailed off sargents Mesa with bad lightening overhead. Picked the trail back up in silverton. Good luck and be safe out there.

The Wellington Lake water pump is near the lake in the parking lot for the campground. Its right across from the building where you pay for a camp spot. Apparently the building used to sell candy bars and stuff. But they had no license and got caught.

Mark is this across the lake or is it off Wellington lake rd, having a difficult time finding it.

You need to check the forecast again!  Looks like everyone can leave the rain jacket at home this year!  (although I wouldn't advise actually doing that Smiley )
