Officials have reopened West Platte River Road between Foxton Road and the South Platte Hotel, which was closed because fire hoses were on the road

My friends Erin C and Amanda D started yesterday, and today, respectively, and both are off to good clean starts.  I can't wait to start chasing them Sunday morning! Bike is packed and only small details remain tomorrow.

Tailwinds, fair skies (even though I mentioned the M word earlier) and safe travels everyone! I'll be watching some blue dots - and looking for lots of them to start bouncing over the next week or so  thumbsup

Neil?
Nearing the end of section 2, and in second place, Neil reported his shifter was broken.  Mentioned he was done.  Heading back to the start to get things fixed. Sounded like he was going give it another try once it was fixed

At the beginning of section 3, Jeremy Whitman reported that a brake caliper bolt rattled out of the frame.  "Cracked frame, duct taped it but might be out..."  He's still moving though!

Thanks for putting up the pics of the start, I had planned on racing this year but life keeps getting in the way.
Hope everyone has a good time out there ,and watching the dots at least makes me feel like I am out there too.

Ben had an awesome first day and it looks like Jefe is super motivated this morning and woke up with some serious speed in his legs!  Aaron and Aaron are adding to tight race at the front!

Looks to me like the lead pack pace is off a couple hours from 2014 for the first day.  Anyone know if there has been weather or other trail condition issues?

Was a perfect day and evening in Bailey yesterday - and cool and calm this morning.
