Aaron Summers and Robert Esquerra seem lost and confused in the Canelos... ?
Edit - looks like they are getting water south on the road a bit.

Don't forget about Max Morris. He's up in the front somewhere.

They missed a turn very on, and camped well shy of the pass, but they were moving again and may be looking for water now. I hope they are OK. Luckily it is Saturday and there should be people around should they need to hitch-hike or ask for water. Don't forget about Max Morris. He's up in the front somewhere.
Yes! I just heard from Mike Mortensen (early ITT) that Max passed him at ~11:30, so that puts him well ahead of Pete and Kaitlyn. Go Max!

Ian, what happened, you were riding strong. Wish Max had a tracker, that old fart! KB is looking good, stoked for Peter too! Wish I were out there this year, good luck everyone!

Schilling is out at Tucson. Had some hydration issues yesterday and it caught up with him this morning. Bummer!

Kaitlyn is scratching due to knee issues! Colton S, also out. Steve Gibbs, too. Patrick Duffy and Bill Sims. And Schilling? Say it ain't so.
Many more dots on the map showing telltale signs of intent to scratch.
Tough year so far. High attrition rate.

Todd Denham here. Scratched a bit ago. Worsening respiratory infection. I'm looking for a ride to picket post. It's a terribly inconvenient question to ask, but I'll pay anyone for there trouble. If anyone knows of a pay service that would be helpful. Thanks.

Does anyone know why Hunter Keating scratched? I figured he would be one of the earlier finishers.

He said he cut his sidewall early and wasn't feeling it.

There's a bit more to Hunter's story than that. There was some confusion and he may or may not have tried to start from the actual start of the AZT rather than the start of the 750...
