Oh man, I'm starting to feel Snakebit on the AZTR. 3ed DNF in a row. Not that I'm a role model of preparation*. Next year a 750 finish of bust.

I want to give a Big Shoutout to all the hiker, bikers & the ATA for the excellent trail maintenance & rerouting on the east & west Canalos section. 20% better IMO. Formerly Soul Crushing, now only Ef'in Hard.

Any info on Janie (not sure of spelling) from Scotland? She's from the same hometown as Ron Thompson they determined at the startline, even though they had never met before. I think she may be leading the the 750 women. She was the next women after Katilin when I saw her at KY camp friday night.
rs. Either this is Jill Libby or Janie doesn't have tracker.

Mike, I saw Jenny at Saguaro Corners on Saturday afternoon, gave her my cholla comb for the desert after Oracle. As of 0700 this morning, looks like she is getting ready to cross 77

Well I had an amazing run out there. I think I finished around 1020pm for a personal best 3:10 something (ITT start thurs noon). I wasn't even sure I wanted to race, since I had been collecting dust since 2015 Ctr.

Well I shouldn't have doubted my ability. Now I have a 6th 300 and my time didn't suck!!

Anyone know if Nancy scratched? I see Jeff getting close to Bloodsucker but Nancy's tracker hasn't moved from Oracle all morning. Hope she's alright. Sad

Congrats on another 300 finish, Mark!

She's scratching, but perhaps day riding today.  She ran out of time, I guess.  Working Tuesday.

We have Pete B for the first confirmed finisher of the grand depart(s).  Max Morris is unknown -- word is he finished last night, but I have not heard a time, or who won.  It may have been close.

Rhino is continuing to lead the charge, heading off onto the paved detour around Hewitt Station, and off to Gold Canyon.  Best to get through that today before the head starts ramping up tomorrow.

Thanks for the info Bill. I did mention to her refueling in Oracle was advised, but I didn't warn her about the sign on the single track being the much harder than the highway.  I see her track working back up that same single track no doubt loaded down. My bad @Jenny

Alexis Ault with an emotional finish! She rolled in around 7:45pm.

Curtis Barrett extremely relieved to cross that finish line. He rolled in just before 9pm.

Well done you two!! It was great seeing you finish. 😊👍🏻
