He knows. He hurt his wrist and is done

It does look official, 51.4 mph on the last Spot tracker point.

Seth is at the stage stop saloon now, if he is feeling good and pushes it he may just eek out sub-5 day.

Still wonder where the stealth JB is right now.

Bummer about Chris having to drop out.  I know he made his gear choices for his reasons, and I'm not second guessing him, but I just have to wonder how that fully rigid setup may have taken a toll on his wrist.  Anyway - heal up fast man!  The trail will still be there next year.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Another winner from Colorado Springs!

Looks to be the case! Of course, we haven't seen Basham's Spot re-emerge from the dark side, so we'll have to get confirmation from Seth when he arrives at Waterton. It has been one helluva race so far! Weather conditions not seen since 2011 and 2007 - lot's of super tough people out there "enjoying" the trail.

Some really, really tough people out there!  Looks like a tight 4 way race for 3rd place is developing.

Current standings for 3rd

Justin DuBois 427.7 miActive
Max Morris 426.1 miActive
Dana Ernst 426.1 miActive
Brad Ells 424.1 miActive

I think Dana and Max are riding together.   Not sure if they know where Justin and Brad are.  Still it will be interesting to see how these 4 shake out.

wow..  things changing fast.

In the time of my posting all 4 have joined up at 428.0 miles ( Justin is still at 427.7)

If so, a little over 5 days.

Here's a pic of Seth at the finish.
He looks ready to ride another 500 miles!
FYI, he built that frame in his garage.
