Indeed. Upgraded or new tower on Red Mtn outside of Patagonia.  If you can see Red Mtn, you have 4G.  Used to barely be able to get a text out just 3-4 years ago.

Amen.  I was thinking about a new 750 rule that you have to give me a high five at Parker!  Haha.  See ya soon.

Jerry Q from Tucson is 70 years young and already past Canelo Pass.  Go Jerry!

Todd from Durango just got underway.  He was planning 10pm but got here early.  He is an adventure racer so has experience in sleep dep.

Colton started this morning as well, a Tucson rider returning from last year.

Got another rider, Chris from PHX starting this eve to take advantage of a cooler first 12 hours.  Quiet passing through the Canelos, he says.  Sounds nice and an interesting and perhaps wise strategy.

Deanna Adams scratched after Patagonia, a few days ago.  She smashed her Garmin at some point and didn't have navigation.

Jeremy Noble is already digging into Highline, blazing the way.

Curt Jardine is mysteriously in Mammoth.... not sure what is up.

And Aaron Kennedy may have bailed at Sahuarita Rd yesterday.  No new points since then suggests that.

That's it for our early ITTs.  Glad to see so many and less pressure on the Grand Depart this year.

For anyone driving from Picketpost south yet today, do not go through Florence. A big country music festival had traffic backed up for miles north of Florence.

Cell service on a new tower at the Coronado Nat. Memorial. I wonder if it extends to the 750 start. I bet it does.

Oh crap, it's County Thunder this week?!  I've been stuck in it before but I don't think it's coincided with AZTR before.

Well, I've arrived in SV and the butterflies are growing!
A huge thanks to Sun N Spoke here and Roadrunner Cycles on Broadway in Tucson for generously helping me with final preparations.
Looking forward to meeting fellow 750 lunatics in the morning!
Bring it on! Wink
Edit: Is this border securing exercise likely to effect us riders? I guess we will find out tomorrow......

Good luck everyone!! I’m planning to make a re-attempt of the 300 in 2019 so hopefully I’ll see you all out there next year.

Scott,
I’m planning on cleaning out and restocking the Kelvin and Freeman Road caches on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully most of the pack is through by then. Anywhere else I should try and hit up?

9 people still showing 0 feet after 2 hours including Wicks, Greg Hardy, and Curtiss Barrett.  Neil B showing no update at mile 1.9 of the 300.  Spot update issues or something more troubling?

That'd be great.  Coordinate with Schilling -- I think he'll head to one of those but between the two of you, I very much appreciate it.

Pretty sure that's Max's little joke.
