Justin arrived jubulantly at 5:48. After beer and burros they took off, his spots still bouncing in Utah.

Has anyone been out to Redington yet?

Glad to see a lot of strong finishes in the last 24 hrs.  Also glad the wind has died...

I'll shoot Steven Terry a message and see if he can take care of it. I think that's where he had dropped off some gallons before the race.

Wow, six people traversing the canyon, Dean Anderson fresh out on the north rim, and Alice D just a couple miles from finishing!  Quite an afternoon on the Kaibab.

BangHead I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I need to have another run at the 750.

Finished my sobo run at 9:12:35.  Turned around right away to head over pass, so I guess I didn't stay at border long enough to ping, but long enough for bp to check if I was lost.  That turned into a brutal run, can't believe how much hab I did the last few days.  Despite all, I had my most enjoyable run yet, mostly enjoyed myself and am actually looking forward to going nobo next year.  It was great seeing everyone, imo, anyone who takes on this tough, rocky trail just for fun really is a special breed.  Thanks for hosting us Scott, and thanks to Kurt Refsnider for the advice d on the proper ratio of intervals to endurance training and showing me the right way to taper.  Looking forward to seeing you all next year and bringing out our inner Neanderthals on this amazing Odyssey.

Well spotted.  Kurt said everywhere on the plateau was looking pretty free of snow.... except the trail!  So we'll see if he can stick to it.  He requested an 'alternator' status after skipping the section of trail from Canelo Pass to Sonoita.  Perhaps this is his way of making up for it.  I like it.

300 results should be getting close to final, and 750s are coming together:

Hey Adam! It was nice meeting you on the trail! Send me a message with your email and I can send you the pics I took of you in the canyon. I ran into about six of the 750 riders when I was doing the Rim to Rim to Rim on Saturday! Good job you guys, you are beasts!

Aaron and Denberg,

Congratulations on outstanding Southbound runs.  You guys both rocked it.  Denberg, you run some serious nighttime hours.  Awesome.  I'm not sure if Aaron runs a bunch of nighttime hours or is just really fast or maybe both?

Mark, where is the North Rim Hilton?  Would that be Kaibab Lodge?  I believe the owners stay there yearound but I don't know if they are open for business now?  Good job.  Enjoy your border run tomorrow.

All the other finishers.  Well done!!
