Has anyone heard from Crazy Mike?  I've heard through the grapevine he crashed hard and messed himself up pretty bad.  Last tracking at KC.  Wondering if he's really still there, or if someone possibly drove in to get him.  Hoping he's okay!

Yup, a WWF worthy pile driver when bungee went into front spokes. Maybe that's not the optimum method for transporting camp flipflops 😉  Strava said it was at 17.8 mph. broken left hand is the worst of it, as bad as my face looked it didn't need stichs. A copule of drops of super glue closed it up

HR Hanoch Redlich suffered a very bad dehydration at the first day and had to stop for a whole day in Tuscon.
He joined back yesterday morning and now he is rolling after a short sleep this night.

I'm glad he took the day off and got back in it. He traveled a long way for this ride.

I bet we'll get a nice update from JD (Juicy Doobies) today, I'm guessing his bearings were fixed this morning, but his dot has been bouncing back and forth on the jeep road section north of Picketpost. Perhaps a dropped item??

Yeah hopefully he's all fixed up and good to go. Dropped item, or getting some bonus miles just for the fun of it, or just tracking anomalies.

Juicy has been smoking it. Wonder if he's all sorted with his rear wheel. The nature of these things... sh*t happens. He seemed very determined to get it up and running again.
Hell Yeah Brett S... cruising along out there 3d 1h to the 300. SSer's running show!
Nice work Adam H! another AZTR in the bag!

Oh my goodness, Mike.  I'm thankful a broken left hand is "all" that happened as a result of that.  Heal quickly!  ♥

Anyone know why Kerkove is listed as “scratched”? I thought he finished AZT300 in second.

I noticed that a little while ago, too!  It looks to me like his SPOT made a solid hit at the trailhead, and I thought for a while he was showing as finished.  ??

The Green route is the optional route for riders who think the Red route is too easy...... laughing5  The Green stays “truer” to the actual AZT where the Red route is up The Apache Trail to Lake Roosevelt and is on road.

The green route is the 4 Peaks option for this year. The red route was/is/has been the official route in previous years along Apache Trail. It's likely green route will become the official route from 2020 onwards, not for certain yet, John can probably clarify.

Similar to how Jacob's cross cut and the Phoenix area single track was added a few years ago. Soft 'option' one year with the possibility of it becoming the official route the next after some feedback and fine-tuning.
