Certainly going to be interesting to see what's going to happen with the current snowpack melting as well as any parts of the route that are affected by downed trees from avalanches.

Colorado made the Tour Divide this year due to epic mud and snow. The CTR should be interesting!

Good luck everyone, I'll be following. Weather looks perfect for tomorrow. Wish I was toe-ing the line again. Can't believe the last time I did so was in 2013...geez

Trackleaders map is not showing checkpoints, peaks etc. The leaderboard just shows last update and finish. Is this due to map costs? Or did my settings change? Does anyone know?

I rode up to mile 25 last night to cheer the racers on this am and was pleasantly surprised to see Kurt and fish crushing it.  Just getting up on Indian trail ridge at 8:30am. They were talking and having a good time. Flying! 4.5 hrs for 25 miles and 7 k of climbing. Nice pace.

Dang, Kurt & Timon getting resupply in Silverton at 5p!! Blazin' fast. Scott Sidener not far behind on his SS Fatbike, must be those fancy bags he's sporting.

Greg Gleason took a spill early on & messed up his calf and scratched. Such a bummer, I really wanted to see what he could've done out there.

I emailed Scott about the checkpoints, hopefully just a glitch.

Man, the beauty of being fast.

Kurt and Timon already fueling up in Silverton, and they have a perfectly clear evening/night to power through the high alpine tundra of Coney/Cataract.

...while the rest of the pack will have to deal with chances of showers/t-storms the rest of the week starting tomorrow afternoon.

Some points of reference.

- Kurt made it to Silverton at 6:15pm two years ago.  This year he made it to Silverton at 4:45.
- Scott Sidener made it to Silverton at 10:30pm two years ago. This year he made it at 7:15pm.
- Two years ago, 8 people made it to Silverton before 10pm.  This year, about 20 people will have passed through by 10pm.

I rode with Cookie Mike quite a bit last year.  He's a great dude!  SS again, too.
