Scott,

any idea when the TL signup page will be up?  Most of us are slowly moving closer and closer to our flights

Scott/Mike - I see the new route skips the first half of the rail trail out of Sawtelle, staying on roads and passing through Island Park.  I'm not complaining, but noticed as I study for changes.  Was this on purpose? Or, a mapping error?

Thanks
Tom
I rode that new section on the classic last year, the rail trail from big springs to island park is chewed up severely by atv activity. The rest of the rail trail is still not bad to travel on

It looks good - at least the Gila forest from that side of route

It's looking like a modified form of Cuba -> Grants dirt will be in the TD route this year.  (applause!  fanfare!)  This will help compensate for the forest closures and make it so there isn't 200+ miles of continuous pavement.  The idea, perhaps, is that it'll be required only when forest closures are in place -- that means it's unlikely clay mud and flooding arroyos will be an issue.  This is because the forests will reopen if given enough moisture.

Hoping to have first round GPX available Monday.
Yeah thanks Scott for that! Excited to get riding in those Navajo hoodoos and Cerro drainages , arroyos

Hi Scott, Will there be an option to sign up for the "touring" category layer of the trackleaders page for TD22?

No, but there's a place for that.  We have a general TD tracker for folks touring.  It gets a good deal of use each season.

Thanks so much for hosting the call-ins, Joe! Always great to listen to them.
