Indiana has eaten up about half the lead that his back-tracking on Imogene cost him.  He's just 70 miles back of Dylan.  Wow!

Hey Guys,  Couldn't make the GD ATR due to work, but I am planning on ITT starting around Sept 1st on my new Cutthroat.  Does anyone have the GPS file for 10K Garmin?

(etrex 30x & 20x is what I'm planning on taking).

This is the first time I've had trouble loading a file.  Can't seem to get file from "Ride with GPS" to properly transfer onto the Garmins.  A 10k point file is what I need....I think.

Thanks,
Mike

He's one of the most incredible people I know. Gotta believe that if he makes it through all of this sand and heat in Utah unscathed he can claw back even more of that distance if he wants. These dudes out in front are so inspirational.

Been dot watching daily since reading about Indiana's Imogene Pass snafu. I've been hoping he can come back and make race out of it with Dylan, but Dylan's lead has remained pretty solid.

I checked the tracker this morning and noticed Indiana was camped for about 12.5 hours last night in the Schell Creek range. Any insight as to why he had such a long stop? Just exhaustion maybe? Kinda surprised he didn't grab a hotel in Baker if he was going to sleep for so long. Perhaps he just overslept.

He was drained yesterday and then had restless sleep. He's chilling in Ely for the day to recover.

I wondered if Dylan would get finished on the 4th.  That won't happen, but if all goes well, there's a chance he could finish tomorrow or early Thursday.  And Indiana has dogged him the entire way.  A fantastic race!!

5000 + miles...  The master of adventure is about to finish!  Congratulations Dylan Taylor!  It was a blast to cross paths at the Tomichi Creek Trading Post in Seargents, Colorado.  I think my jersey might be a bit more orange than yours at this moment.  Yours is likely to disintegrate soon.

Hal Russell is just a few minutes from the Colorado / Utah border.  What an inspiration!!  What will I be capable of when I'm 68?

Awesome!

Hal Russell with a call-in to MTBCast from Richfield, UT.  If I understood it correctly, his lights are no longer working.  If that's truly the case, hopefully he can find some kind of replacement shortly.

Yep sounded that way to me as well. Hopefully he got some temporary lights in Richfield. Looks like he rode into the night again. Last few call-ins he sounded pretty beat up with high temperatures and big winds in the desert then hits mud in mountains (I think)....
Go Hal!!!
