Your pictures are stunning, Aaron. I'm amazed that you can travel as fast as you do and still take the time to set up shots. Thank you for doing that! Cannot wait to see the video. I'll never get to do the AZT because our ski season is still cranking, so your pics and video is as close as I will likely get.

Does anyone have the contact for the photographer who was out on course during the AZT300 race this year?

Check with the Border Patrol folks. I'm sure those blimps took some awesome day and infrared nighttime shots.

Yep, John, I was a bit muddled at nightfall on day 2 when I saw you. Scott has helped me track down the shooter, Dan Sharp. I saw him at the start, in the Canelos, atop Lemmon, and at the finish.

Not so sure I'd call it cool weather... with temps looking at 90's in Tucson. But water and rain were more a concern for the first few days. He posted some incredible photos of normally bone dry washes that were raging. He didn't get a good roll of the dice, conditions-wise.
Still, he's still riding, on Mt Lemmon. He's behind record pace, but it's not over yet. I still think he could do it if conditions improve.
Got him on the tracker if anyone wants to follow along.

He scratched after finishing the 300. The slower-than-normal conditions led to running low on food/water, which is never a good thing when it's that hot.
Good on him for giving it a go.
