Yah and please error on the side of a little too much weight in water than searching in a panic to find something wet. It's not a fun experience. Keep it fun!

25.15 hours to start time! The pony is readied for launch and the body yearns for physical and mental testing. May all riders be endowed with minimal mechanicals and maximal memories... I'll be enviously watching the 750 riders when my "short" journey comes to an end at Picketpost.
Don't forget to bring your cigarettes! I almost forgot my carton of Tahoes when loading my bags this morning! D'oh!

750 detours update:
1 - Fire is almost out by Fisher Point. FS reports: "trail is open! enjoy your ride!".
2 - Mormon Lake detour stands, as described earlier.
3 - Fire damage (old fire) by the Grandview Lookout is not large. 1/4 mile South and East of tower burned. If it's badly burned, unsafe or signed, detour and rejoin when possible. Sounds like it will not be a big deal.
SPOT dots are moving south! Nearly time to get this party started.
