Yeah, it's working for me on w/v2.3.6 of Android. It's a web-based app, so nothing to download,

Just found this thread...rhino, did you ever get it to work? If not, try this: 1. close any open pages to bluedot in safari. 2. go to settings->safari and tap 'clear cookies and data' 3. reopen safari and go to http://app.bluedot.mobi/Feel free to PM me with any issues.

Scott & I worked together on setting up the backend event configurations, and clearly the event configurations originate in trackleaders. Any active event on trackleaders is also on bluedot. Bluedot independently retreives SPOT data from SPOT's servers, and the app itself was a labor of love, my first crack at a mobile app.

Your welcome! Dots are cool cause they represent people I should also give a shout out to Matthew Lee. Many a conversation with him has led me to further improvements on Bluedot, he's a great idea guy as well as king of the divide.

I just learned a new trick for trackleaders today. You can append any event with "-widget" and you get a full screen widget. This is good cause mobile devices need fullscreen pages, generally speaking - especially maps. The widget is too big for a phone but if you use an iPad or other tablet try it. I have been using it on the desktop too... For example, the TD URL is http://trackleaders.com/tourdivide13-widget. Great for tablets, laptop and desktop.

Mike Hall has been absolutely killing it in TD this year. He's also been using a beta SPOT device, the unreleased Gen3. Those points are stored a little differently than the other devices, different enough that it wasn't compatible with Bluedot's system. If he can do 200 miles/day the least I can do is get him on Bluedot This motivated a fairly major re-write of some backend logic. Long story short, big events should be better represented, and Mike Hall is now showing up. I also noticed some riders were not showing - those issues have also been fixed. There are still a few kinks to work out, feel free to PM me or just post here.

Think he was showing up fine on my Galaxy S2 on 6-21 on Android 4.1.2. I know I had no problem finding him on Blue Dots the morning he went through MT into ID and caught up with him around Ashton ID before Flag Ranch Road. Dude was cooking.
