How did the arm coolers work for you?  I'm thinking of using them for kmc

I paid $8 from Pearl Izumi and love 'em. I'd recommend everyone buy a pair. They double as toilet paper in extreme situations also, for those lightweight weenies worried about grams.

One thing I forgot to mention in my write-up was that my black saddle got so hot [climbing out of the Verde] that it was easier to stand up. I blame the black-colored saddle and black baggies that I had. I should have brought the brown shorts instead.

Has anyone ever had this happen before?

How can your saddle get to hot if you are sitting on it?

Sounds like a personal issue!   bootyshake

Touche. Although, I have a really long saddle. Well, that is what they tell me.

Really though, I have the Fizik Gobi XM and it's pretty long. I guess that means you have never had this happen to you. Maybe it was the black shorts + black saddle combo.

Your word is good enough for me.  I picked up a pair the yesterday and was really tempted by the cooling shirts and leg coolers, in the end I just got the arm coolers to try them out

Barring any unforeseen situation, I am officially in for the Cocoloop 250 BikePack stage race starting October 9th, 2010.  I think some other Flagstaffricans will be showing up too.  Can't wait!   So is it October 7 or 9th?  I've seen two different dates...
