Six minutes, not seconds.  Still close!  Brought them both breakfast burritos at the TH today.  Missed Jefe though.  Everyone surprisingly lucid, given the circumstances.

Here are the times off of the actual SPOT share pages (not the trackleaders linked page), so they reflect the latest these racers actually hit Junction Creek.  It is entirely possible (but unlikely I think) that all three finished together and there were SPOT shenanigans or... well, only they know!  We won't know the actual times until the racers chime in here or send me their times.  I'll start another thread eventually for collecting finish times.

5:46am, 3d23h46m - Jefe
8:36am, 4d02h36m - Ethan
8:52am, 4d02h52m - Jesse

Awesome, Joey!  Wish I could've been there too.  Did you get some actual finish times by chance?

Mmm, not yet.  Jesse's here at the shop and using the phone, I'll ask.  Ethan's at the thrift store getting some clothes, when he comes back I'll get his as well.  Please hold...

yeah, just talked to Jesse. Both Ethan and Jesse really went into survival mode by the end.
Way to go, all three of them broke the record, am I correct?

THANKS FOR BRINGING BURRITOS.  JESSE LOVED HIS!

Top three Jefe (middle), Ethan (right), and Jesse (left) at the shop this morning.  They all picked out different colored Velorution Cycles shirts and insisted on wearing them for this photo... can't say I minded.   Wink  They all look pretty good considering how hard they pushed and gapped the rest of the field (which, by the way, is still kicking a$$ out there!).  Now for a second or third breakfast...

Thanks for the shot of those guys!! What an incredible result for all three.

Attention now turns to the next group and speculation on how well Spotless Cat is doing.

Go Chris!!

2:02pm MT Friday Aug. 3rd.

We just got a call from Cat!

She is doing great!

She's loading up with food in Silverton. She'll be leaving Silverton in a few minutes and is headed for Durango via the CTR route, all systems are go!

She's sorry she lost the Spot!! It was accidentally left behind after she took a nap yesterday.

Great news for Cat.  It appears as though she has a decent shot at Eszter's record, if she can push it hard to Durango.

Pushing it hard seems like it's in her wheelhouse.

Cat will have to push all night to beat Eszter's time by even an hour or two.  I think she can do it... but it ain't gonna be easy.  Steady and strong defines her style though, it'll be exciting to watch!
